The Brazilian radio presenter, Joao Valdecir de Borba, was shot dead during a live broadcast of his own show.
A particularly interesting concept about the death was the fact that he received deaths threats prior to his death.
This type of information would be helpful were it not for the fact that Joao identified as a man. As we all know, death threats are only to be taken seriously when given out to online female personalities by internet trolls that use memes within their death threats UNIRONICALLY.
Men receiving death threats is just a joke, while women receiving death threats comes within a context of Patriarchal oppression.
This means that Joao’s death was a joke made serious, which really isn’t that bad considering it will be a useless thing to say next time some shitlord claims that ‘rape jokes’ are harmless.
