The Canadian government has approved of a drug that prevents HIV transmission. A drug like this keeps one of the most deadliest diseases from spreading, however it’s really expensive and it doesn’t benefit the user as much as the people engaging with the user. A concept like this brings about ethical dilemmas and makes us all question what is truly right and wrong.

Would it be right to force those with HIV to get this drug? Would it be better to have the government distribute it for free? This would mean they’d need to get it from the manufacturer.

And still, what if potential consumers didn’t want it? What then? And Canada already has high taxes. Even more taxes?

Perhaps they can go full socialism. But that would take a revolution…
